Job Summary
We are seeking to hire an experienced and commercially driven Food & Beverage Manager to lead and oversee all Food & Beverage operations within a busy hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maximizing revenue and profitability, managing banquet and conference operations, maintaining service excellence, and leading a high-performing F&B team.
The role requires a strategic leader with strong operational expertise, financial acumen, and a passion for delivering world-class hospitality services.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Oversee the daily operations of restaurants, bars, banquets, conferences, and other Food & Beverage outlets.
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food and beverage services across all points of sale.
- Coordinate and manage all banquet, conference, and group functions from planning through execution.
- Ensure all guest requirements, event specifications, and service standards are met.
- Monitor food quality, beverage quality, presentation standards, and service delivery.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and fire safety regulations.
Financial & Commercial Management
- Achieve budgeted food and beverage revenue, profitability, and labor cost targets.
- Prepare monthly forecasts, budgets, and operational reports.
- Monitor inventory levels and oversee purchasing of food, beverages, and operational supplies.
- Implement effective cost control measures to optimize profitability.
- Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to ensure competitive pricing and service offerings.
- Manage billing processes to ensure accuracy and timely invoicing.
Sales & Business Development
- Drive Food & Beverage sales through promotions, events, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event organizers, and key accounts.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to maximize banquet, conference, and catering opportunities.
- Follow up on customer inquiries and maintain high conversion rates for event bookings.
- Promote repeat business through exceptional customer service and relationship management.
Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop the Food & Beverage team.
- Manage workforce planning, scheduling, attendance, and payroll administration.
- Conduct regular departmental meetings, briefings, and performance reviews.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff training initiatives.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and service excellence.
- Maintain discipline, employee engagement, and staff retention.
Customer Experience
- Ensure guests consistently receive exceptional service experiences.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Build strong relationships with guests and event organizers to encourage repeat business.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement service improvement initiatives.
Inventory & Compliance
- Manage food, beverage, and bar inventories, including monthly stock counts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain departmental manuals, controls, and reporting systems.
- Monitor equipment and facility conditions and report maintenance requirements promptly.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Food & Beverage Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Food & Beverage operations, with at least 3 years in a management position.
- Proven experience managing restaurants, bars, banquets, conferences, and large-scale events within a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, inventory management, and cost control.
- Experience leading and developing large operational teams.
