ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Security Systems Design Specialist to join our technical design team. This role is responsible for designing solutions across security and life safety systems — including CCTV, Access Control, PAVA (Public Address/Voice Alarm), Entrance Control, IP-PABX, and Intercom systems — and translating them into accurate technical drawings and documentation for project delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design solutions across security and life safety systems, including but not limited to CCTV, Access Control, PAVA, Entrance Control, IP-PABX, and Intercom
  • Prepare and generate 2D and 3D drawings in AutoCAD and other applicable design software, including working drawings and As-Built drawings
  • Conduct site surveys and produce sketches to inform solution design
  • Develop and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) from designed solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams — project managers, engineers, and clients — to understand project requirements, objectives, and constraints
  • Attend project meetings with clients and other stakeholders
  • Manage project communications through Minutes of Meetings (MoMs)
  • Interact and communicate effectively with various team members throughout project design work
  • Identify and propose strategic solutions to improve design workflows
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design practices, and incorporate them into project deliverables
  • Follow and adhere to relevant design standards and guidelines
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) or Urban Planning
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar technical design role
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/REVIT and other CAD design software
  • Strong understanding of design principles and user-centered design methodologies as applied to technical systems
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
