Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality & Finishing Lead to champion quality excellence and finishing standards across the manufacturing operation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and strengthening quality controls, driving continuous improvement initiatives, reducing quality losses, and ensuring products consistently meet customer expectations for both functionality and finish.

The role requires a hands-on leader who is passionate about product quality, appreciates the finer details of finishing, and can build sustainable systems that improve operational performance. The successful candidate will work closely with production teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the manufacturing process and reflected in the final product delivered to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead quality and finishing activities across the manufacturing process to ensure products meet established standards
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality controls, inspection processes, and finishing standards
• Monitor product quality and finishing consistency across all production stages
• Identify quality gaps, defects, and process inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing quality losses and improving operational performance
• Analyze quality performance data and translate findings into actionable improvement plans
• Conduct quality audits, inspections, and product evaluations to ensure compliance with specifications
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, procurement, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues
• Champion finishing excellence by ensuring products meet expected appearance, feel, functionality, and customer requirements
• Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions where necessary
• Develop and maintain quality systems, controls, and performance tracking mechanisms
• Build capability within the quality team through coaching, training, and performance management
• Promote a culture of accountability, quality ownership, and continuous improvement across the business
• Prepare quality reports, trend analyses, and performance updates for management review
• Stay informed on industry best practices, quality standards, and manufacturing improvement methodologies

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Textile Technology, Manufacturing, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 4 years' experience in a mid-level leadership role within quality, manufacturing improvement, production excellence, or a related function
• Proven experience improving quality standards, reducing defects, and strengthening operational performance
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional improvement and change initiatives
• Experience developing teams, systems, and sustainable quality processes
• Strong understanding of quality management principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience within textile manufacturing, apparel production, knitwear, or similar manufacturing environments is highly preferred
• Knowledge of knitwear quality requirements and finishing processes is an added advantage
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quality reporting tools
