Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Officer to support the execution of key HR functions across the employee lifecycle. The successful candidate will be responsible for talent acquisition, employee relations, HR administration, performance management support, policy implementation, employee engagement initiatives, and maintaining HR records and compliance.

The ideal candidate is an organized HR professional with strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of employment legislation, and the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organization. Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, onboarding, and induction

  • Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and personnel files

  • Administer employee onboarding and offboarding processes

  • Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization

  • Support employee relations activities and provide first-level guidance on HR matters

  • Coordinate employee engagement, wellness, and culture-building initiatives

  • Assist with performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and development planning

  • Monitor employee attendance, leave administration, and related HR documentation

  • Prepare HR reports, employee data summaries, and workforce analytics for management review

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements

  • Support learning and development initiatives, training coordination, and employee capability-building programs

  • Assist in disciplinary processes, grievance handling, and employee investigations where required

  • Coordinate employee benefits administration and support employee inquiries

  • Work closely with department managers to support workforce planning and organizational development initiatives

  • Promote a positive employee experience and contribute to a high-performance workplace culture

  • Perform any other HR-related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or a related field

  • Higher National Diploma (HND) or professional HR certification (CHRP-K, IHRM, CIPD, or equivalent) is an added advantage

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Human Resources Generalist, HR Officer, Talent Acquisition, or related HR role

  • Demonstrated experience supporting recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration functions

  • Good understanding of Kenyan labour laws and HR best practices

  • Experience working within a corporate, technology, financial services, or professional services environment is preferred

  • Strong organizational, documentation, and administrative skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities

  • Strong report writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR Information Systems (HRIS)

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
